Support IBC with Online Play

There two ways to support IBC on Bridge Base Online (BBO:

IBC Games on BBO – Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m (Open) includes players from Terre Haute

If you’re not familiar with playing on BBO, just follow these steps:

  1. Go to the BBO website
  2. Register – click on the Login/Register button on the upper righthand side of the page
  3. Add BB$ – click on the BB$ button next to the Login/Register button
  4. On Tuesday, around 6:45, log into BBO.
  5. On the BBO home screen, under the green Featured Areas, click on Virtual Clubs.
  6. On the Virtual Clubs page, click on ACBL-North America.
  7. Scroll down the list to find the Indianapolis game and click on it.
  8. Follow the instructions to register for the game. You will need
    1. Your partner’s BBO user name.
    2. Your partner will need to be logged in to accept the invitation to play.
  9. NOTE – you need to register (and your partner needs to accept) at least 15 minutes before the game starts.
  10. If you do not have a partner, click on the Partnership Desk at the top of the page. And then select your payment option–pay for yourself or pay for you and your partner. Then wait for someone to invite you to play. Or if there is someone already listed, click on Invite to play with him/her.
    There might not be another player looking for a partner. So spread the word about the Partnership Desk to other IBC players. It’s a great tool to find a partner at the last minute.

South Carolina Club of Clubs

There is a new group of clubs called the South Carolina Club of Clubs that is offering multiple online games every day at different Masterpoint levels.  The great thing is that every time an IBC player plays in these games we get a portion of the game fee.

The games start are at three levels 1) 0-749 (or sometimes 699), 2) 0-2500, and 3) open.

Games start at 7:30 am, 1:00 pm, 3:30 pm, and 7:00 pm

Level 1 starts at those times
Level 2 starts a few minutes later
Level 3 starts a few minutes after that.

The above are the usual starting times.

Some open games allow you to play with a Robot partner.

To find a game on BBO go to “Virtual Clubs’, “North America”, and then search for “SE C”.
